As part of the celebration of significant dates and key events in the life of Turkmenistan, the country's embassies around the world continue their active work, reaffirming its status of permanent neutrality as a reliable platform for international dialogue. A series of gala receptions, cultural evenings, and events are currently taking place abroad to mark national holidays. At the same time, diplomatic missions abroad are focusing on widely informing the international community about the historic decisions of the Khalk Maslakhaty (People's Council), which took place in Ashgabat.

These events ensure a high level of awareness of Turkmenistan's strategic course, deepen bilateral and multilateral ties, and contribute to the further development of the country's cultural diplomacy.

Japan: Khalk Maslakhaty Results at EXPO 2025

As part of the World Expo 2025 in Osaka, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Japan organized a special conference dedicated to the results of the Khalk Maslakhaty meeting.

Representatives of the Embassy, ​​the EXPO 2025 Organizing Committee, and the international community discussed the peace-loving and humanistic focus of the country's parliamentary diplomacy. Ambassador Atadurdy Bayramov briefed participants on the international initiatives announced at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as the constructive proposals put forward by the Khalk Maslakhaty. The event concluded with a presentation of the most popular exhibits from the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan.

Republic of Korea: Reception in Honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust

A gala reception organized by the Embassy was held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Seoul to celebrate the 34th anniversary of independence, the 30th anniversary of permanent neutrality, and the declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Peace and Trust.

The official reception was attended by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Lee Jae-woon, along with the leaders of the National Assembly, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Seoul. Ambassador Begench Durdyev noted the historic transformations and large-scale initiatives undertaken by the country's leadership. Vice Minister Lee Jae-woon confirmed that Turkmen-Korean relations have reached a high level of strategic partnership, which was cemented by a recent telephone conversation between the two leaders.

Great Britain: Promoting Neutrality and a Culture of Peace

A celebratory event and exhibition took place in London, featuring Turkmen students, citizens residing in the British capital, and representatives of the World Turkmens Humanitarian Association.

Ambassador Yazmurad Seryaev emphasized the legal status of permanent neutrality, three times recognized by the UN, and spoke about the significance of the 30th anniversary of this status. Particular emphasis was placed on the representative Forum scheduled for December 2025 in Ashgabat. Guests viewed a book exhibition and a photo exhibit and warmly enjoyed a performance of folk songs on the dutar.

Pakistan: Sports diplomacy and a healthy lifestyle

The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Islamabad, together with the management of Pines Golf Club, organized a friendly golf tournament and subsequent gala reception in honor of the anniversary of independence and neutrality. Ambassadors, diplomats, and experienced Pakistani golfers participated in the tournament. The event was a shining example of the Turkmen leadership's policy of fostering a positive attitude toward a healthy lifestyle. The chief guest from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr. Hamid Asghar Khan, noted the high level of organization, which contributed to the strengthening of cultural, humanitarian, and diplomatic ties.
