Deals worth over 30 million US dollars concluded at the SCRMET
30.09.2025 | 11:25 |Last week, 18 transactions totaling more than 30.4 million US dollars were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET).
Foreign entrepreneurs from the United Kingdom and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas produced by the state concerns Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit. Business representatives from the United Arab Emirates, Azerbaijan, and Türkiye acquired raw fabric, cotton fiber, and purified cotton waste for foreign currency.
On the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs signed contracts for the purchase of base oil (produced by the Türkmennebit State Concern) worth 604,500 manats.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), established by Presidential Decree on July 29, 1994, is one of the country’s key economic institutions. It serves as the main body for state regulation of export-import operations.
