The President of Turkmenistan approved the Work Plans for the Development of the Economic and Banking Sector for 2025
07.01.2025 | 10:00 |At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the draft Work Plans for the country's economic, financial and banking sectors for 2025. The report on this issue was presented by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimyradov.
As noted, the documents were developed based on the Program of the President of Turkmenistan for Socioeconomic Development for 2022-2028. The plans provide for measures to ensure macroeconomic stability, develop the digital economy and introduce modern technologies. Particular attention will be paid to the analysis of socioeconomic growth, improving investment policy, and effective management of state property and financial resources.
Steps are also planned to modernize the legislative framework, develop banking and insurance services, standardize, and strengthen the national statistics system. The Deputy Prime Minister also presented draft measures for 2025 aimed at introducing digital technologies into the work of ministries and departments. This is in line with the objectives outlined in the Concept for the Development of the Digital Economy for 2019–2025 and the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy for 2021–2025.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of stable economic growth and successful execution of the State Budget. The head of state instructed to begin implementing the approved plans and ensure the timely implementation of all activities.
