 New District Courts Established in Turkmenistan

The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, signed a decree establishing a number of district courts in the Ahal, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary provinces in connection with changes to the administrative-territorial division of the regions.

According to the document, within the total number of judges and court staff across the country, the following courts have been established: the Altyn Asyr District Court of Ahal Province; the Garashsyzlyk and Gubadag District Courts of Dashoguz Province; the Dowletli District Court, Farab District Court, and Garabekawul District Court of Lebap Province; and the Oguzkhan District Court of Mary Province.

The decree provides for the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan to make the corresponding amendments to the State Budget for 2025.

During the session, the results of the work of the country’s military and law enforcement agencies over the first nine months of 2025 were also reviewed, and issues related to ensuring national security were discussed.
