The CIS will establish a badge "Distinguished worker of television and radio of the Commonwealth of Independent States"
19.06.2023 | 11:08 |The Commonwealth of Independent States is working on the establishment of the badge "Distinguished worker of Television and Radio of the Commonwealth of Independent States", the press service of the Commonwealth reports.
The development of a draft Regulation on the establishment of a badge was discussed during a meeting of the relevant Working Group, which was held via videoconference. Turkmenistan, along with Uzbekistan, was represented at the meeting as an observer.
The participants agreed on a draft Regulation on the badge. The issues of financing the issue of a badge and a certificate to it were also put on the agenda of the meeting.
The badge will be awarded to employees of media management bodies, organizations, editorial offices of television and radio broadcasting media who have made a significant contribution to strengthening the CIS information space, development and improvement of television and radio broadcasting. The award will also be awarded to persons who have achieved high results in their professional activities and are a role model in the industry represented.
The initiative to establish a badge belongs to Tajikistan. The country has made a proposal to the Council of Heads of State and Public Television and Radio Organizations of the CIS member States.
As a result, on September 15, 2022, at the next joint meeting of the Council of Heads of State and Public Television and Radio Organizations of the CIS member states and the Administrative Council of the Interstate Information Pool, this initiative was supported.
