Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the measures taken to ensure the uninterrupted operation of gas production wells at the Galkynysh field - one of the largest in the world. Particular attention was paid to proposals to improve the efficiency of current work, which the President of the country approved, emphasizing the importance of this source for the implementation of international projects and strengthening Turkmenistan's position in the global energy arena.
Modernization of Power Grids: Stability and Development
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov presented a report on the progress of scheduled repairs of power plants, power lines and transformer substations. These measures are aimed at ensuring reliable and stable energy supply to consumers. The President instructed to ensure maximum efficiency in the use of all available energy capacities, insisting on constant monitoring of this process.
The oil and gas complex is the driving force of the national economy, ensuring stable growth and expansion of the country's export potential. At the same time, the electric power industry is developing at a high rate: existing gas turbine units are being modernized and new ones are being built. By 2030, Turkmenistan plans to increase electricity production by 30%, actively introducing renewable energy sources. Turkmenistan's energy strategy, based on the rational use of resources and the introduction of modern technologies, continues to strengthen the country's economic stability and investment attractiveness.
