Euronews is invited to the International Forum of Peace and Trust in Ashgabat

As was emphasized during the meeting, currently, in order to enhance the prestige of Turkmenistan in the world, active cooperation has been established with the media and international news agencies of different countries. In this regard, the positive experience of cooperation with the Euronews TV Channel, which is the leading media structure of Europe, was noted.
Speaking about the prospects for expanding cooperation, the head of state emphasized such areas as the popularization of the cultural and historical heritage of Turkmenistan in the world and the development of tourism. Serdar Berdimuhamedov especially noted the tourism potential of Turkmenistan, which is famous for its rich national heritage and historical monuments, unique natural landscapes. The Avaza National Tourist Zone, the Kopetdag foothills and the Karakum Desert have great opportunities for the development of tourism.
In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan noted that videos about Turkmenistan are broadcast in special programs of the Euronews TV company.
On the initiative of Turkmenistan, a special Resolution of the UN General Assembly proclaimed 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust. Also, this year we will widely celebrate the 30th anniversary of the country's permanent neutrality, the head of state said and invited Pedro Vargas David to the International Forum of Peace and Trust, which will be held in Ashgabat on December 12, 2025.
In addition, important issues on the international agenda and cooperation projects, both already implemented and future, were discussed at the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to continue to develop mutually beneficial relations with the Euronews TV channel, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.
