Samsung holds first product presentation of 2025

On January 22, 2025, Samsung held its first product presentation of the year, titled Galaxy Unpacked 2025.

The event demonstrated three flagship smartphones: the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. These devices are distinguished not only by their contemporary design but also by their high technical specifications.

For instance, the top-tier, largest, and most advanced model in the new series, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, is available with up to 1TB of storage, making it ideal for users requiring substantial data storage capacity.

The smartphone’s chassis is constructed from titanium, and the screen is covered with the new Gorilla Armor 2 protective glass. The second generation of this protective covering offers even greater durability and provides even greater accuracy in display image transmission due to its anti-reflective properties, which significantly reduce surface reflections both indoors and outdoors.

Samsung emphasizes the software capabilities of the new smartphones. Thanks to the proprietary One UI 7 interface, they will become true AI assistants that understand user needs and preferences and provide personalized AI capabilities. The company has equipped the new products with multimodal AI agents capable of perceiving text, speech, images, and video.

The presentation also introduced the Galaxy mixed reality headset and the second generation of the Galaxy Ring smart ring.

At the end of the Galaxy Unpacked presentation, the company revealed the most intriguing novelty – the Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone. It will be a “refined” model of Samsung’s flagship lineup this year, with a thickness of just 6.4 mm.

Sales will commence on February 4, 2025.
