 Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Turkey signed 5 agreements

At the ceremony held at the Avaza Congress Center, in the presence of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, there were signed the agreements on trade, science, education, culture, customs, energy and transport between the three countries.

The agreement on trade and economic cooperation was signed by the Minister of Trade, Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan Batyr Atdaev, Minister of Trade of Turkey Mehmet Mush and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

The framework program of cooperation in the field of science, education and culture was signed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nurmuhammet Amanepesov, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Memorandum of Understanding on the establishment of the Joint Consultative Commission on Customs Cooperation was signed by head of the State Customs Administration of Turkmenistan Maksat Khudaikuliyev, Minister of Trade of Turkey Mehmet Mus and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

The Memorandum of Understanding on the development of cooperation in the field of energy was signed by Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Batyr Amanov, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey Fatih Donmez, Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Perviz Shahbazov.

The Memorandum of Understanding on further development of cooperation in the field of transport was signed by Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakyev, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey Adil Karaismailoglu, Minister of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan Reshat Nebiev.

A joint statement from the summit was also adopted at the signing ceremony.
