 In late April, the "SCO and China-Central Asia 2025"  Arbitration Forum will be held

The "Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and China-Central Asia 2025" Arbitration Forum will take place on April 25th in Ürümqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China. This was announced in a statement by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, as reported by Xinhua.

This event will be organized within the framework of China's chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) for the years 2024-2025. The forum will focus on discussing issues related to arbitration and the resolution of international commercial disputes, which is relevant for the SCO member states and Central Asian countries.

The theme of the forum will be "Gathering Forces for Arbitration Cooperation and Embarking on a New Journey under the Rule of Law". It is expected that the event will be attended by representatives from over 30 dispute resolution organizations and bar associations from countries in the region. The forum will discuss topics such as cooperation in the field of dispute resolution, the integration of artificial intelligence in arbitration, as well as new challenges and solutions in this area.
