Meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan: Key Topics

Thus, Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova informed about the preparation of new bills and amendments to existing legal acts. During the upcoming meetings of the national parliament, the deputies will discuss drafts of a new version of the Law "On the Court" and a number of other bills.
During the reporting period, the deputies of the national parliament took part in UN and OSCE seminars. A representative of the Mejlis was sent to Geneva to participate in the UN forum on sustainable development. The delegation of deputies also participated in the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Tashkent. Deputy Prime Minister Batyr Amanov reported to the head of state on preparations for the international forum on attracting foreign investment, which will be held in Kuala Lumpur. The President of Turkmenistan instructed the Deputy Prime Minister, who oversees the oil and gas sector, to ensure a high level of organization and holding of the forum.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Tangryguly Atakhalliyev reported on the progress of work in agriculture. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to continue caring for wheat fields and complete the sowing of cotton within the scheduled time frame.
Having heard the report of Deputy Prime Minister Baymyrat Annamammedov, the President of the country instructed him to monitor the provision of construction sites with necessary materials and the smooth operation of existing plants and factories.
Deputy Prime Minister Bayramgul Orazdurdyeva reported on the preparations for the international competitions in national wrestling and belt wrestling "Alysh". The President of the country instructed to ensure a high level of competitions.
Director General of the Transport and Communications Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Mammetkhan Chakyev reported on the training of personnel for civil aviation.
