 The Second Central Asian Media Forum will commence in Astana on April 16th

The Second Central Asian Media Forum is scheduled to take place in Astana on April 16th and 17th, 2025.

This significant event is anticipated to convene over 500 participants, including media executives and experts from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, as well as representatives from the United Kingdom, China, Qatar, and Russia. This information has been released by the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The forum will address crucial aspects of media operations, specifically new avenues for growth and collaboration among Central Asian nations, the evolution of global media, the shaping of the future information landscape, and the digital transformation of media in the era of artificial intelligence and big data.

Participants will also examine the role of social media in promoting a country's image. In addition to panel sessions, master classes led by prominent specialists from organizations such as Euronews and CNN are planned. Furthermore, a working meeting of the Ministers of Information from Central Asian countries will be held.
