Oriented on making people closer

Tajikistan has officially become a member of the Group of Friends of Neutrality for the sake of peace, security and sustainable development. This event has become an important step in strengthening regional and global cooperation based on the principles of neutrality and preventive diplomacy.

The Group of Friends of Neutrality is an informal international platform that was created on the initiative of Turkmenistan. Its main goal is to promote the ideas of neutrality as an effective tool for achieving global peace, security and mutual understanding between peoples.

The accession of Tajikistan to this platform once again confirms the growing importance of neutral policy in modern international relations. The new member will bring valuable experience to the work of the Group and will promote the use of the potential of neutrality to build a secure and sustainable future for all, according to a statement from the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the UN.
