President of Turkmenistan took part in celebrations in Beijing

In Beijing, on September 3, as part of his visit to the People's Republic of China, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in World War II. On the invitation of PRC Chairman Xi Jinping, the head of Turkmenistan became an honorary guest at the military parade held on Tiananmen Square.

The ceremonial parade was not only a tribute to the heroes, but also a symbol of China's commitment to peace and its role in ensuring global stability. In an atmosphere of unity and mutual respect, the heads of delegations took a joint commemorative photo, capturing this historic moment. The participation of the President of Turkmenistan in such a large-scale event emphasized the deep friendly ties and common strategic goals of the two countries.

High-level dialogue: from bilateral meetings to multilateral initiatives

The key event of the visit was the high-level talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The leaders of the two countries paid special attention to the development of a strategic partnership covering a wide range of areas: from politics and economics to energy and culture. During the conversation, they particularly noted the successful cooperation in the energy sector, which serves as a reliable basis for long-term development.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a large-scale high-level meeting in the SCO+ format. This demonstrated the multi-vector foreign policy of Turkmenistan and its active desire to expand dialogue with the countries of the region. Participation in such a prestigious event confirmed the importance of Turkmenistan in ensuring the sustainable development of the entire Eurasian continent.

Neutrality and peacekeeping: the basis of cooperation

The meetings discussed the key role of Turkmenistan's neutral status, three times recognized by the UN, in building international relations. It was emphasized that the policy of positive neutrality and preventive diplomacy are not just a declaration, but effective tools for promoting peace and stability. Turkmenistan, acting as a reliable neutral platform for negotiations, is actively developing cooperation with international organizations. This approach is reflected in a number of initiatives:

Economic diplomacy: Large-scale projects are being implemented, such as the construction of the TAPI gas pipeline, as well as the creation of transport and transit corridors, for example, the Afghanistan-Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey route, which connects Central Asia with Europe.

Environmental security: Turkmenistan calls for joint efforts to rationally use water resources and combat desertification, which is also an important component of its peacekeeping policy.

Consolidation of success: signed documents

One of the results of the visit was the signing of a number of bilateral documents. These agreements cover various areas and create a solid legal basis for further deepening the strategic partnership. They reflect a common commitment to the principles of peace, mutual understanding and sustainable development, as well as a focus on the prosperity of not only the two countries, but the entire region.

Having completed the program of the visit, which was marked by fruitful negotiations and strong agreements that lay the foundation for long-term stability and prosperity in the region, the President of Turkmenistan left Beijing for his homeland.
