Microsoft Updates PowerToys: What’s New in Version 0.94
07.09.2025 | 14:30 |Microsoft has released a new version of its utility suite, PowerToys 0.94. The main innovations include a tool for detecting shortcut conflicts, an updated settings search, and the new “Slide Cursor” feature.
The new conflict detection tool allows users to easily find and resolve inconsistencies between default and custom keyboard shortcuts. A special button has been added to the settings menu that, when pressed, opens a window for quickly resolving conflicts. In addition, the settings search has been improved: it now supports typo-tolerant search, displays suggestions, and shows results on a separate page.
Along with these features, the update also brings other improvements: the installer has been updated, the command palette refined, and support for the Maltese language added to the Quick Accent feature. PowerToys can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store or GitHub.
