Oriented on making people closer

The Day of Knowledge at the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan was bright and solemn. At the main site of the institute, first-year students received symbolic keys and student cards - a sign of the beginning of a new stage of their academic life.

You don't enter the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at random: among the first-year students are winners of national and international Olympiads and competitions, talented guys with a well-established sense of purpose. These are the students who become future diplomats, international journalists and experts on economic and legal issues.

The study at the institute is based on a combination of theoretical training and practical skills. The teachers are experienced diplomats, journalists and specialists who actively work in the international arena. Students regularly meet with foreign ambassadors and invited lecturers, receive up-to-date information on world politics and international communications, participate in practical projects and negotiation simulations.

The Institute trains bachelors and masters in the fields of International Relations, International Law, International Economics, Political Communication and Internet Journalism, Digital Diplomacy and other relevant programs. This approach ensures a high level of training and enables graduates to successfully realize themselves both in government agencies of the country and in international organizations.

The Institute continues to develop international cooperation and practical training of young specialists: in recent years, hundreds of students have completed internships in foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations. New initiatives in the educational practice of the university allow students to actively participate in the implementation of the country's foreign policy and the formation of its media field.

The Day of Knowledge was not only a symbolic start to the new academic year, but also showed that the IIR of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan remains a center of attraction for talented youth ready to contribute to strengthening the country's international authority and developing foreign policy initiatives.
