The meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan was held at the MFA of Turkmenistan

On December 20, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmed Gurbanov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Ashgabat Ravshanbek Alimov.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on key issues of bilateral cooperation. It was noted that in recent years, cooperation between Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan has demonstrated progressive dynamics, covering a wide range of areas. Thanks to regular contacts and mutual visits at the highest level, the countries have reached a new qualitative stage of partnership.
Particular attention was paid to the current state and prospects of cooperation in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Issues of implementing previously reached agreements were also discussed.
Both sides expressed confidence in the further strengthening and development of Turkmen-Uzbek cooperation, emphasizing its importance for the well-being and prosperity of the fraternal peoples of the two countries.
