Special attention was paid to the implementation of the outcome documents of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC-3).
Following the meeting, representatives of UN agencies in Turkmenistan confirmed their readiness to closely cooperate with national partners. They noted the need for the practical implementation of the international and regional initiatives announced at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as assistance in the effective implementation of LLDC-3 decisions.
The Council meeting marked the transition to planning a new, five-year partnership cycle between Turkmenistan and the United Nations system.
