Oriented on making people closer

Today, on October 15, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov attended the groundbreaking ceremony for a large mineral fertilizer production complex at the Chemical Plant in Turkmenabat, Lebap Velayat.

In his speech, the head of state emphasized that the chemical industry is one of the most important sectors of the economy and a key part of the country's diversification strategy. Turkmenistan is consistently shifting from raw material exports to advanced processing, developing a modern, high-tech industry.

The new complex project is being implemented by the Turkmenhimiya State Concern jointly with the Korean company Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd.

The commissioning of the complex will significantly increase the capacity of the chemical industry. The planned annual production capacity of the new facility is 350,000 tons of superphosphate and 100,000 tons of ammonium sulfate.

The head of state sincerely congratulated all ceremony participants on this event, which marks a new stage in the development of the domestic chemical industry.
