New Books – A Guarantee of High-Quality Education

Recently, a new study guide “Module Exams Guide” (author: Murad Malikov), approved by specialists of the education system, was published for university students as well as for all those interested in the English language and preparing for exams.

Developed by the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammed Azadi, the “Module Exams Guide” in test format will provide significant support to students majoring in English philology and to learners of English in successfully passing their exams. This study guide includes tests with answers covering a wide range of knowledge and corresponding to CEFR standards (the international system for assessing language proficiency, developed by the Council of Europe for standardizing language levels). The manual is based on the content of the 4th edition of the Oxford English File textbook and provides detailed coverage of issues arising in grammar, vocabulary, and speaking practice.

A textbook titled “Modeling and Graphics” (authors: K. Udamuradova, E. Amanov – Ashgabat: Turkmen State Publishing House, 2025) was also recently published for the 11th grade of secondary schools with advanced study of natural sciences and mathematics. The purpose of this textbook is to introduce students to the main stages of modeling, to develop their ability for model-based thinking, and to foster logical and creative approaches.

The section “The Concept of a Model” consists of four chapters. The section “Modeling” examines problem setting, object characteristics, indicators and interrelations between them, as well as checking the compliance of results with the required conditions. The sections “Modeling in a Graphic Environment” and “Drawing” discuss modeling in a graphic environment, the use of traditional geometric tools, the concept of a drawing and its objects, as well as solving tasks related to constructing various designs.

The content of these sections is intended to help students understand the possibilities of models in comprehending the surrounding world, to grasp the interconnection between natural phenomena, life, and their models, to learn how to use symbols to construct simple models of certain objects and processes, and to develop research skills when working with a model and interpreting the results obtained.
