 Residential building for employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan opened in Tashkent

Today, a solemn opening ceremony of a residential building for employees of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Uzbekistan took place in Tashkent.

The event was attended by a delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Akhmet Gurbanov, heads and representatives of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan and foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Tashkent, representatives of ministries, public organizations of a friendly country, the media, as well as Turkmen students studying in Uzbek universities.

The official representatives of the two countries, who spoke at the ceremony, emphasized the high level of interstate dialogue thanks to the political will of President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

The three-story residential building was built by a Turkmen company and includes 12 apartments with an improved layout, which provide all the amenities for living, including furniture, modern kitchens and a system for maintaining an optimal microclimate. On the landscaped territory adjacent to the house there is a children's playground and sports grounds.

During the visit, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Akhmet Gurbanov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The diplomats discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the spheres of politics, economics and humanitarian issues, and also exchanged views on the regional and international agenda, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.

During the talks, the parties outlined plans for cooperation for the coming year, the department added.
