The President of Turkmenistan has completed a new book and summed up the results of the year
At an expanded meeting of the government and the State Security Council held on Friday, with the participation of the heads of regional administrations and the capital of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov announced that he had completed work on a book dedicated to the rich literary and philosophical work of Magtymguly Fragi, the invaluable contribution of the glorious son of the Turkmen people to the treasury of world civilization.
In addition, the new book entitled "Magtymguly - dünýäniň akyldary" reflects the achievements of Turkmenistan.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov especially noted the importance of the current government meeting, during which the head of the Turkmen state declared 2025 the "International Year of Peace and Trust". He also emphasized that this event is a logical continuation of the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan, voiced from the high rostrum of the United Nations. 86 states co-sponsored this resolution, which is a practical embodiment of the doctrine “Dialogue is a guarantee of peace”, put forward at one time by Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
During the current year, hundreds of festive events dedicated to the anniversary of Magtymguly, his enduring literary and philosophical heritage were held in many countries around the world. In 2025, conferences, forums, competitions, exhibitions, etc. will also be held in Turkmenistan and abroad.
The President of Turkmenistan noted that in the outgoing year, Turkmenistan achieved high rates of development in all segments of the economy, the construction of industrial and social facilities continues in the regions of the country, and interaction with all interested parties, including authoritative international organizations, and primarily with the UN, General Assembly of which adopted a number of resolutions put forward by Turkmenistan, is systematically implemented in the international arena.
In the final part of the extended government meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed instructions to the leaders on the smooth organization of festive events, in particular the upcoming ones and in general for the coming year, marked by the anniversary of Turkmenistan gaining the status of a neutral state, supported by the world community represented by the UN General Assembly.
