The Ministry of Health of Turkmenistan took part in the global Medical Korea Forum in Seoul
17.03.2024 | 01:01 |The delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Minister of Health and Medical Industry Azat Ovezov took part in the Medical Korea Forum, the 14th Global Conference on Healthcare and Medical Tourism, which was held in Seoul on March 14-15.
The event was attended by high-level official delegations, scientists, practitioners, healthcare providers and healthcare experts from around the world. The Forum served as a platform for discussing the latest trends and prospects for the development of the medical industry, as well as topics of international cooperation at the state level.
During the visit to Seoul, the Turkmen delegation held talks with Deputy Minister of Health and Social Security of the Republic of Korea Kim Hyo Jin, having considered topical issues of medical cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting with the President of the National Institute for the Development of Korean Medicine, Chong Chang Hyun, the parties paid special attention to the creation of a Center for Traditional Korean Medicine, which is planned to open in Turkmenistan and exchanged views on the upcoming joint work.
Other meetings were also held, including with the heads of the clinic at Gyeongbuk National University in Daegu.
