Turkish resorts plan to earn $60 billion a season

With a large flow of travelers, the country expects an increase in income from the tourism sector. “World tourism cannot be imagined without Turkey or Antalya. Almost 99 percent of tourists coming to our country are satisfied with the services. I am sure that tourism revenues in 2023 will be at least $55 billion. The goal is to reach the level of 60 billion dollars. This year will be a record year in terms of tourism revenues,” Cavaloglu said.
Turkey, in particular the province of Antalya, is in the top in popularity among almost all tour operators in the UK, Germany, the Benelux countries, Western Europe, as it is a leader in providing healthy and safe tourism services. In 2019, the country broke records in the global tourism industry. At least 15 million tourists are expected to arrive in Antalya this year.
This is confirmed by the owners of Turkish hotels, who reported that most of the hotels are already full for the upcoming season. They note that in June, July, August, September and October, 100 percent of hotel rooms are booked.
