Turkmenistan increases agricultural product exports
Turkmenistan is showing impressive results in the export of agricultural products. In 2024, the supply of greenhouse tomatoes increased by 43%, reaching 149 thousand tons. The main buyers are Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, according to the State Customs Service.
In addition to tomatoes, there is also active export of lentils (13 thousand tons), onions (6 thousand tons), fruits and grapes (4 thousand tons), as well as a wide range of confectionery products, packaged vegetables, and non-alcoholic beverages.
To support businesses, the customs service of Turkmenistan is actively implementing electronic services. Since 2024, the "Single Window" for export-import operations has been operational, accelerating customs procedures and reducing the time required for cargo processing.
