Rain and snow expected across Turkmenistan
According to the Hydrometeorological Service of Turkmenistan, the second half of the week will bring precipitation in many regions, with a noticeable drop in temperatures.
In Ashgabat, cloudy weather is expected, with occasional rain and wet snow by the weekend. Daytime temperatures will reach +15°C, while nighttime temperatures will drop to 0…+2°C.
In Ahal velayat, overcast skies will bring rain and wet snow towards the end of the week. Daytime temperatures will gradually fall from +15°C to –2…+3°C at night.
In Balkan velayat, strong winds and cloudy skies will prevail. Some areas may experience rain. Over the weekend, temperatures will drop to +3°C.
In Mary velayat, occasional rain and snow are expected by the weekend.
While the first half of the week sees highs of +18°C, temperatures will drop to +2°C during the day and lower at night.
In Lebap velayat, rain showers are likely, turning into snow over the weekend. Daytime temperatures will range from –1°C to +4°C, with nighttime lows reaching –5°C.
In Dashoguz velayat, precipitation is expected, with a sharp temperature drop. Over the weekend, daytime temperatures will fall to –3°C, and nighttime frost could reach –7°C.
