A delegation of more than a hundred young people from Central Asia visited India
24.11.2022 | 20:13 |A youth delegation consisting of more than 100 people from Central Asian countries visited India from November 17 to 23. The purpose of the visit was to introduce young people to the culture of India and develop friendly relations, ANI writes.
The delegates visited various attractions and also talked with the heads of some regions of India, which became possible thanks to the agreement reached within the framework of the India – Central Asia Summit in January of this year.
Trade Union Minister Anurag Thakur hosted a reception in honor of the youth delegation on Tuesday. At the gala evening, the delegation performed old Bollywood songs. Thakur highly appreciated the performance and noted that Indian cinema has a great influence on the youth of Central Asian countries.
"Dancing to old Bollywood songs and playing instruments by themselves show how India affects the hearts in Central Asia. This shows the future of good relations between India and the countries of the region. These relations will be connected with art and culture, as well as with trade and other spheres," Thakur said.
It was also noted that the international youth exchange program is of great importance for strengthening goodwill and healthy relationships.
