Goods turnover between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan has grown by 30% since the beginning of the year
26.10.2021 | 02:33 |For 8 months of the current year goods turnover between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan has grown more than 30% as compared with the similar period of the past year. President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev stated it at negotiations in Ashkhabad with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the expanded format.
– Naturally, it is not a limit of our possibilities. Very serious reserves are available in spheres of energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, industry, - the head of Kazakhstan said.
Tokaev noted that Kazakhstan is ready to increase export of 60 commodity positions for a total sum more than 130 million US dollars to Turkmenistan. Under mutually beneficial conditions agricultural products, including flour and wheat can be delivered to the country.
Following the results of negotiations, the Memorandum of mutual understanding on trading cooperation between the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed.
