The head of Turkmenistan and the Ambassador of Armenia noted significant potential for cooperation

The Ambassador conveyed greetings from the President and Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia to the head of state and National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The leaders of the friendly country addressed their best wishes to the entire Turkmen people.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in turn, conveyed warm wishes in return to the top leadership of Armenia, congratulated the diplomat on his appointment to the high post and wished him success in strengthening the Turkmen-Armenian dialogue.
As reported in the news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company on Friday, December 13, during the meeting the parties noted the significant potential for further development and diversification of productive ties in a wide range of areas. It was especially emphasized that Turkmenistan and Armenia have extensive experience of interaction in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, and also demonstrate a high level of mutual understanding on key issues on the international agenda.
Both sides expressed confidence that fruitful interstate relations based on mutual respect and common interests will continue to develop dynamically, filling with new content.
