Starlink will enable messaging from any point on the globe by the end of this month

This mission completes the formation of the first orbital shell of the Starlink constellation. According to Elon Musk, this technology will allow regular smartphones to connect to the internet from any point on Earth.
Currently, the system's bandwidth is 10 Mbps, but it is expected to significantly increase in the future.
By the end of this year, Starlink will be available for sending and receiving text messages only. In the following year, voice calls and data transmission will also become available.
The cost of the service has not been disclosed yet, but a Starlink roaming option has already been introduced, priced at $50 per month for 50 GB.
Starlink uses standard protocols, ensuring full compatibility with any modern phone. SpaceX has developed special parameters for its satellites, capable of guaranteeing reliable communication. All of its satellites are equipped with LTE modems.
