What is the Baktu Forum?
The Baktu Forum is an international platform that focuses on developing cross-border cooperation, economic exchanges and cultural ties between China and Central Asian countries. Named after the Baktu border crossing (one of the important points on the Chinese-Kazakh border in Xinjiang), this forum is a symbol of openness and aspiration to strengthen good-neighborly relations within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative.
The main goal of the Baktu Forum is to promote regional integration, increase trade and investment cooperation, as well as develop cultural and humanitarian exchanges. The location of the forum in Xinjiang is no coincidence, as this region has historically been a key hub on the Silk Road and plays an important role in China's modern strategy to expand ties with Central Asia. Participation in the forum provides unique opportunities to strengthen economic and cultural ties, attract investment and exchange experiences in various fields.
