Oriented on making people closer

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on July 25, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution "On approval of the procedure for state registration of movable values of the national historical and cultural heritage." The draft document was presented to the head of state by Deputy Prime Minister for Culture and Media Bahar Seyidova.

The adoption of this document was another step in the systematic work to protect and preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Turkmenistan. The new procedure regulates uniform approaches to the registration, inventory, storage and use of objects of special cultural value, including works of art, archaeological finds, rare manuscripts, household items and decorative and applied arts.

The President of Turkmenistan especially noted that a unified system for registering movable national values will create conditions for their proper storage, scientific study, exhibition, and will also help prevent cases of illegal trafficking and export outside the country.

State registration will allow the formation of a centralized register, which, in turn, will ensure reliable control over the safety and status of each object of historical and cultural significance.
