Serdar Berdimuhamedov Outlined Priorities for the Second Half of 2025

At the end of the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to the results of the country's socio-economic development for the first half of the year, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov identified key areas of work for the near future.

Particular attention was paid to the preparations for a number of significant international and national events scheduled for the second half of 2025.

The head of state emphasized that the current year, held under the motto of the International Year of Peace and Trust, has important political and symbolic significance for Turkmenistan.

The central event of the year is the international Forum scheduled for December 12, which should become the culmination of efforts to strengthen the atmosphere of mutual understanding and sustainable development.

The President of the country instructed to carry out comprehensive preparations for this forum, as well as for the celebration of Independence Day and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality - nationally significant dates that unite the past, present and future of the country.

A special place in this work is given to the next meeting of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, which will be held during the days of the nationwide celebration of independence. The meeting will become a platform for summing up the development of a sovereign state, assessing the milestones achieved and discussing priority tasks for the future.

In this regard, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov ordered the creation of an organizing committee designed to ensure high-quality preparation of the event, including the formation of the agenda and the selection of worthy candidates for state awards and honorary titles.

The head of state also noted that the activities of the Khalk Maslakhaty, the national parliament, the Cabinet of Ministers, regional administrations, relevant ministries and public organizations should be synchronized for comprehensive and coordinated preparation for these events.

The President of Turkmenistan paid special attention to issues of international cooperation. In August, an international conference will be held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone, and all heads of ministries and departments should be involved in its organization.

In addition, on July 13, a meeting of the organizing committee for preparations for the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries will be held in Avaza under the chairmanship of the head of the highest representative body of people's power, the Khalk Maslakhaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that holding this international forum at a high level will not only strengthen the authority of Turkmenistan in the international arena, but will also become one of the key events of the International Year of Peace and Trust.

Assessing the results of the first half of the year, the President of the country called them satisfactory and instructed the heads of all ministries and industry structures to hold final meetings on the implementation of half-year plans on July 12.

At the same time, taking into account the organizational workload, the head of state allowed the heads (with the exception of the agricultural sector and heads of regional administrations) to use their labor leave from August 1, according to established practice, in the health resorts of the country and in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

In conclusion of his speech, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov once again confirmed the immutability of Turkmenistan's strategic course:

"We will continue to implement a fair policy of "open doors" and neutrality," the head of state noted, emphasizing that the upcoming events will strengthen the country's international positions and give additional impetus to its sustainable development.
