Turkmen Agricultural University students deepen knowledge in Uzbekistan
13.07.2025 | 15:00 |In alignment with the International Year of Peace and Trust, S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University is actively fostering international cooperation, offering students extensive opportunities for international internships and practical training.
From July 6th to 17th, a delegation of 22 individuals, comprising faculty members and students from the Hydromelioration and Agricultural Mechanization faculties of S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, is undertaking an internship at the Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers in Uzbekistan. This program is being implemented under a previously signed Cooperation Agreement between the two higher education institutions.
The Turkmen delegation received a warm welcome in Uzbekistan. An extensive program was arranged for the guests, designed to facilitate the consolidation of practical skills, the exchange of experience, and the strengthening of friendly relations between the countries.
During the internship, students and faculty became acquainted with the operations of the Tashkent Institute, visiting academic buildings, laboratories, sports facilities, and the museum. Professors from the institute shared their expertise in the fields of irrigation, mechanization, and agricultural engineering.
Beyond classroom sessions, the Turkmen delegation visited leading scientific and educational institutions, agricultural and water management facilities, as well as historical and cultural landmarks in Tashkent. The "Smart Solutions System" digital system and advanced water management equipment garnered particular interest.
It is important to note that this exchange of experience is reciprocal: from June 25th to July 4th, students from the Tashkent Institute had already completed an internship at S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University.
Such programs play a pivotal role in the development of Turkmen-Uzbek relations, strengthening cooperation in education and agriculture, and facilitating the mutual exchange of advanced expertise.
