Turkmenistan’s Active Diplomacy: LLDC3 Preparations in Focus of Telephone Talks
10.07.2025 | 21:15 |The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan is demonstrating active diplomatic activity ahead of the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDC3) in Avaza in August. On July 10, Foreign Minister of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a series of telephone talks with his counterparts from a number of countries, discussing both bilateral cooperation and key aspects of preparations for this important international forum.
The telephone conversations took place with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mihai Popșoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Republic of Burundi Albert Chingiro, as well as with Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad of the Republic of Chad Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul.
During these conversations, the ministers discussed the current state and prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. Particular emphasis was placed on issues related to preparations for the upcoming Third UN Conference LLDC3. The interlocutors also reviewed interaction within international organizations, emphasizing common approaches to the global agenda.
These talks highlight the role of the LLDC3 Conference in Turkmenistan's international agenda and the country's active involvement in the process of generating broad support and ensuring the successful holding of this important event.
