UAE Airlines offer special Ramadan menus

Emirates and Etihad Airways, airlines of the United Arab Emirates, are providing special meals and services for their passengers during the holy month of Ramadan.

To support those observing the fast, Emirates, for instance, is offering specially designed Iftar (the meal eaten after sunset) boxes with a comprehensive and balanced set of dishes in all classes of service. Additional boxes, with meticulous design, are also distributed at the boarding gates.

In the lounges of Dubai International Airport, the carrier is serving a variety of traditional dishes, Arabic sweets, dates, and coffee throughout the month of Ramadan.

To ensure the highest level of accuracy for fasting passengers, Emirates utilizes a unique tool to calculate the precise Imsak (the time to begin fasting) and Iftar times during the flight. After sunset, the captain will officially inform passengers of the Iftar time.

Etihad Airways is also sharing beloved flavors on board its flights.

"We are honored to offer our guests a thoughtful experience. Our company's carefully curated menu during the month of Ramadan is designed to ensure the comfort of passengers," emphasized Turki Al Hammadi, Director of Product and Hospitality at Etihad Airways.
