Chinese startup unveils world's first fully autonomous AI agent, Manus
11.03.2025 | 12:15 |The Chinese startup Monica has introduced Manus, the world's first fully autonomous AI agent. As reported by the South China Morning Post, Manus promises to revolutionize the approach to solving complex tasks.
Unlike traditional chatbots such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini, Manus is capable of making independent decisions and executing multi-step tasks without the need for human intervention. For example, if a user requests assistance in finding an apartment, Manus does not simply gather information but also analyzes numerous factors, such as crime rates, climate conditions, and commute times, to provide the most suitable recommendations.
Manus operates as a manager who coordinates the work of highly specialized assistants.
In the future, this tool could transform people's work routines. For instance, in recruitment, it could independently analyze resumes, consider market trends, and propose ideal candidates, providing detailed reports. All of this would occur without human involvement.
Manus will also be able to create websites from scratch, gathering data from social networks, deploying them online, and resolving technical hosting issues.
