Oriented on making people closer

American technology startup Figure has showcased the next generation of its humanoid robot — Figure 03. This new model, designed for mass production, represents a significant step in the commercialization of robotics. Figure 03 stands approximately 168 cm tall and weighs 60 kg.

Figure 03 is equipped with several technological upgrades that make it more functional and safe:

• Enhanced “Vision”: Each hand of the robot features built-in wide-angle cameras, allowing the AI system (Helix) to maintain orientation even if signals from the main cameras are lost in confined spaces.

• High Sensitivity: The fingertips are softer and more sensitive. Integrated sensors can detect pressure with an accuracy of up to 3 grams, which is critical for reliable object grasping and manipulation.

• Safety and Speed: The robot can move at speeds up to 1.2 m/s. Its body is partially covered with soft foam and fabric, enhancing safety for household use and making cleaning easier.

Figure 03 is the company’s first robot specifically developed for mass production. To achieve this, Figure optimized its supply chains and launched its own BotQ production facility capable of producing up to 12,000 units per year. The robot also supports wireless charging with automatic docking to the station.

The company has not disclosed the price of Figure 03 or the exact timeline for its market release.
