Sewing Factory in Dashoguz Produced Goods Worth Over 9 Million Manats in Six Months
18.07.2025 | 15:40 |The sewing factory "Cheper" of the Ministry of Textile Industry produced goods worth more than 9 million manats in the first half of 2025, according to the factory’s chief economist, Sona Meredova.
Located in the city of Dashoguz, the factory fully met its production plan and expanded its product range through modernization of production facilities. Currently, about 200 people work at the enterprise, including seamstresses and technical specialists.
"Cheper" produces over 200 product types, mainly on orders from government agencies, including the Ministry of Defense and the State Border Service. The factory also manufactures clothing for the industrial sector, healthcare, education, and culture.
The summer months saw the launch of new models of women’s clothing and household items. The number of orders from institutions and organizations increased, as did the volume of deliveries.
The enterprise actively implements advanced technologies and trains young employees through a mentorship system. A significant part of the workforce consists of young people.
The factory’s products are supplied to the retail chains of the Ministry of Textile Industry. Fabrics made from cotton grown in the provinces of Turkmenistan are used. The product range includes clothing for adults and children, bed linen, chef uniforms, and other types of uniforms.
The factory operates the "Altyn Asyr" store, which offers products from local and other textile enterprises in the country.
