Oriented on making people closer

A Luban Workshop is being established at the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev. This initiative represents a pivotal step in training highly qualified specialists for Turkmenistan's oil and gas industry. The project is being implemented within the framework of strategic cooperation with leading Chinese educational and industrial organizations.

Recently, a delegation of Chinese professors visited Turkmenistan for the official launch of the Workshop and to facilitate the exchange of advanced expertise. The foundation for this project was laid by a Memorandum of Understanding signed on October 18, 2024, with Xi'an Shiyou University, Hebei Petroleum Vocational Technology University, China National Petroleum Corporation, and the China Association for International Exchange in Education.

During their visit, Chinese experts will conduct a week-long internship for young faculty members of the Turkmen university. The training will focus on integrating the latest technologies in informatics and applied geology, which is critically important for ensuring the technological advancement of Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector.
