President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working visit to the Balkan velayat on Wednesday, July 30, to personally verify the full readiness of the Turkmenbashi International Airport and the Avaza National Tourist Zone for the upcoming Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs). Upon arrival in Turkmenbashi, the head of state headed directly to the conference venue. Here, he was met by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov and other officials. The head of the MFA reported on the completion of all preparatory work on the territory of the complex, including landscaping and creating the most comfortable conditions for the forum participants.
