 Elevating Women in Tech

USAID's Future Growth Initiative (USAID/FGI), in partnership with Sanly Bilim, is launching the Elevating Women in Tech project for girls and women aged 18 and above. Over the course of three months, participants will gain foundational digital skills either in web or back-end development.

After the completion of the three months of basic-level IT training, top-performing participants will have the opportunity to learn advanced data analysis and web development. Additionally, all participants will improve their English language skills and participate in entrepreneurship training, enhancing their job prospects. The training will conclude with a showcase event, where participants will present their innovative tech projects that highlight their newly acquired skills.

The basic level of Elevating Women in Tech Project will take place in Ashgabat over a three-month period, consisting of five distinct stages:

  1. Introductory ICT courses in web and back-end development;
  2. English for specific purposes (ESP);
  3. Soft Skills and entrepreneurship trainings;
  4. Hackathon;
  5. Final Pitch Day.

Selected participants will undergo comprehensive training, equipping them with valuable skills in technology, entrepreneurship, and soft skills, including resume writing and job interview techniques.

To apply, complete the application via the provided link before November 17, 2024, at 23:59. Participants will be chosen through a competitive selection process, as the available spots are limited.
