Oriented on making people closer

The 6th World Media Summit in Urumqi, the administrative center of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in Northwest China, brought together more than 500 representatives from 208 of the world's leading media outlets, government agencies, international organizations and other institutions from 106 countries and regions of the world.

The event, with the theme “Artificial Intelligence and Media Transformation”, was organized by the Xinhua News Agency and the XUAR People's Government.

Participants were introduced to the technological achievements of Xinhua News Agency in the field of artificial intelligence.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the World Media Summit mechanism. Thanks to the efforts of media professionals around the world, the Summit has evolved into a high-level platform for global information exchange and coordination, earning wide international recognition.
