Oriented on making people closer

From May 14 to 15, the Turkmen delegation, including representatives of the Turkmen Logistics Association and government agencies and business structures, participates in the 13th Central Asian Trade Forum in Almaty, Kazakhstan. This is reported on the official website of Association “Turkmen Logistics”.

The event is aimed at expanding the traditional boundaries of regional trade, taking into account the potential and challenges of trade in the Central Asian region. In this context, the focus of the forum is to consider new trade markets, identify opportunities in value chains, and discuss digitalization of customs and logistics procedures. The meeting participants also touched upon various aspects of trade regulation, including regional trade agreements, World Trade Organization (WTO) standards, harmonization and other relevant standards.

On the sidelines of the forum, representatives of Turkmen Logistics met with USAID TCA and the Royal Institute of Transport and Logistics to discuss prospects for cooperation.
