Oriented on making people closer

With the aim of developing the national education system and strengthening its material and technical foundation, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Decree directed towards the construction of modern educational facilities in the capital city.

According to the document, the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is authorized to enter into a contract for the design and construction of the "Güneşli" Children and Youth Center in the city of Ashgabat. The new facility will be equipped with advanced equipment meeting international standards and will become another modern platform for the creative and scientific development of young people. The adjacent territory will also be landscaped.

Furthermore, at the expense of the Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, an observatory with a telescope for observing outer space will be established on the premises of the "Güneşli" Center. It will become part of the structure of the State Children's Library named after Bazar Amanov, which will also receive modern digital technologies.

Construction work is scheduled to commence in June 2025. The completion and commissioning of the facility, fully ready for operation, are planned for May 2027.

This new infrastructure will represent a significant step in the development of conditions for the intellectual, scientific, and cultural growth of the younger generation.
