The action will be transferred to the picturesque streets of Singapore — that's where Tom and Jerry will meet their new adventures. The manager believes that a fresh location will add a unique charm to the animation franchise:

"This animated series will bring back the cult music and classic animation style that reigned in the 1950s during the era of the Hanna-Barbera studio, but adjusted for modern Singapore. The Asian city-state with its characteristic sights, scenery and unique atmosphere has become an ideal place to create another humorous addition to the general canon of "Tom and Jerry".

The specific release dates of "Tom and Jerry" have not been announced yet, but the pilot episode, in which viewers will get their first idea of the project, will be available in August, Kinoafisha.info reports.
