OGT-2022 Forum participants visited the International University of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat
28.10.2022 | 17:00 |Representatives of specialized Russian universities taking part in the OGT-2022 oil and gas forum visited the International University of Oil and Gas in Ashgabat, where they discussed with colleagues the development of cooperation in the scientific field.
Alexey Shinkevich, Head of the Department of Logistics and Management at Kazan National Research Technological University, told ORIENT that this university intends to sign a memorandum of cooperation with the International University of Oil and Gas in the near future.
"We want to conduct scientific research, joint conferences, carry out retraining and advanced training of teachers, as well as student exchange," Shinkevich said.
"I would like to note that the city of Kazan is one of the places where Turkmen students study with pleasure. They study at all levels of education at our department – I also have graduate students from Turkmenistan," he added.
Rector of Almetyevsk State Oil Institute Alexander Diakonov also noted the desire of the university to increase cooperation with specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan, and also stressed his admiration for the conditions and level of education at the International University of Oil and Gas.
"To be honest, I envy you that you study at such a truly international university. All conditions have been created here for studying and student life, so that you gain knowledge and become truly highly qualified specialists," Diakonov said, speaking to students during a visit to the Turkmen university.
