The first train journey along the "Almaty — Turkestan — Tashkent — Almaty" route will begin on 16 November, 2024.
Over the course of 4 days, tourists will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of ancient cities and embark on a journey tracing the footsteps of the Great Silk Road. The itinerary includes key attractions in Turkestan and Tashkent.
Specifically, travelers will have the chance to visit one of the most ancient cities in Central Asia - Otyrar. The city once played a significant role as a key trading hub.
As part of the tour, visitors can also visit the Mausoleum of Arystan-Baba, the historical and cultural reserve-museum "Azret Sultan", and the largest tourist complex of its kind in Central Asia, "Karavan-Saray".
In Tashkent, tour participants will not only connect with the city's history but will also have the opportunity to explore the modern development of the Uzbek capital.
For the convenience of tourists, the tour program includes a guide, meals, transportation services, and entrance tickets.
The international tour is being launched by JSC "Passenger Transportation" in collaboration with "TauKomek Travel", "Turan Kazakhstan Travel", "Grand Soluxe Travel Company", "SkyWay Travel", "Kompas", and "Khan Turan Travel". JSC "NC Kazakh Tourism" will assist in promoting the route at the international level.
