AUSTRIACARD presents digital security technologies for Turkmenistan at Turkmentel-2024
16.11.2024 | 13:01 |At the 17th International Exhibition and Scientific Conference Turkmentel-2024, the Austrian company AUSTRIACARD drew significant attention. Company representatives Sergey Yeliseyev and Pierre Alain Bauer shared their impressions of the event and plans for collaboration with Turkmenistan in an interview with Orient.
AUSTRIACARD, a leader in digital security, provides products and services for payment systems, government documents, transportation infrastructure, and e-government solutions. Operating in over 100 countries, the company holds a prominent position in Central and Eastern Europe.
“We see tremendous potential for cooperation with Turkmenistan. Our technologies are in demand, and we have already initiated discussions with local entities,” said Sergey Yeliseyev.
The representatives highlighted solutions for digitizing paper archives, developing biometric identification systems, and implementing electronic signatures. “Our goal is to simplify document management, enhance security, and improve user convenience. For instance, we offer platforms for scanning and digitizing archives, which is highly relevant for Turkmenistan’s government institutions,” Yeliseyev emphasized.
AUSTRIACARD has extensive experience in similar projects. In Greece and Kenya, the company introduced systems that not only digitize documents but also integrate them into educational and administrative processes.
“We successfully completed a project in Kenya where our technology digitized exam results. This example demonstrates how our solutions can be tailored to various sectors,” Yeliseyev explained.
A key focus area for the company is implementing electronic signatures, enabling the secure digital signing of documents, including birth certificates, diplomas, and both public and private contracts.
“Electronic signatures not only accelerate document workflows but also ensure security. Each document is signed by a specific individual and timestamped, preventing forgery,” the representatives clarified.
AUSTRIACARD expressed their readiness to continue negotiations with the relevant authorities in Turkmenistan.
“We are delighted to be in your wonderful country. The government of Turkmenistan shows a strong commitment to innovation, and we are eager to support these initiatives by offering our expertise and technology. Our goal is to make solutions both beneficial and convenient for the people,” Sergey Yeliseyev concluded.
