Chinese telecom operators intend to make China a center for the development of 6G, the next generation wireless technology, China Daily reports.

Liu Lihong, chairman of the Chinese telecommunications company China Unicom, said that the commercial launch of 6G communications in China will begin as early as 2030.

Now China Unicom is working on studying key technologies for 6G. By 2025, the company expects to complete technical studies and study early scenarios for the use of this technology.

The recently approved 6G communication standard now includes six key scenarios for its use. Its peculiarity is that it will ensure the integration of the physical and virtual worlds.

As a next-generation mobile communication technology, 6G will integrate with advanced computing, big data, artificial intelligence and blockchain.
